DIY: Rice Water Toner For a Youthful and Glowing Skin

Hi My Lovely Readers,

These days Rice, Rice Water and Rice Flour have been immensely used in cleansers, toners, packs , scrubs etc. Rice was always used by Japanese people for their skin from ancient times to keep their skin healthy, glowing and younger looking. Nowadays this trick has been extensively used all over the world and have got better results visible in the skin.Today I will be sharing a DIY on how to make rice water toner at home and how to use it.

How to Make Rice Water Toner:

1/2 cup of rice

1 1/2 cups of water

1 medium bowl

1 glass jar with lid

cotton pads

Take a half cup of rice and fill it with water so the rice is covered. Let the rice soak for about 30 minutes until the water turns cloudy. If you think rice is not clean, you can keep the water after second wash.Basically you can use any rice available in the kitchen like basmati, brown rice. After 30 minutes, your rice toner is ready and you can use it just like any other toner. Pour this water into a glass jar, store it in the refrigerator and it will last for 4-5 days. Make sure you mix the rice which is in water to get maximum benefits into the toner.

How to use:

First cleanse your face thoroughly with any cleanser. Then wipe your face with a  cotton pad soaked in rice water . Let it dry . Then you can apply your favorite moisturizer. This toner helps to tighten pores and bring glow to your skin.

Rice is rich in a complex of B vitamins called ‘inositol’ that helps promote cell growth, slows down the aging process and stimulates blood flow. Rice water has been used for centuries by women in Asia precisely in Japan for beautiful skin and hair. It also contains other anti oxidants and minerals which are essentials to maintain healthy looking skin.

Rice Toner helps you to tighten your pores, slows down aging and gives you a nice brightening and whitening glow which I guess is a dream of all the womens out there. I have been using this toner from past 15days and I can see a visible difference in my skin.It has given a nice glow and also made my skin smooth and supple.

There are numerous ways you can use rice for your skin and hair. Yeah you can even use this rice water as a rinse to your hair as this helps in conditioning your hair. If you want extra goodness from the rice, boil the water and rice. You can use the excess water from it for your face. It will be more starchy, so I would recommend using a cotton pad for your application. After about 5 minutes, just rinse off with luke warm water, then finish by splashing your face with cold water.

I hope this helped!
